ISES DUBLIN 2008
ISES Dublin 2008 will take place in a most appropriate location at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) – home of the Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show – in the heart of Dublin city. The RDS will provide the full range of modern facilities in a wonderful historical setting steeped in the tradition of the Irish Horse. The facilities will not only enhance the running of the conference but also heighten your Irish holiday experiences too.
The Main Venue for ISES Dublin 2008 is the Minerva Suite, Members Club and associated complexes and atria. All other facilities including speaker’s room, poster display area and hospitality arrangements are adjacent to the main lecture theatre.
Practical demonstrations will also take place on site within the Veterinary Paddock of the RDS Showground situated within a two-minute walk from the Minerva Suite.
The Minerva Suite is ideally located beside the RDS Main Hall on the Merrion Road, which is on the major bus routes to/from Dublin Airport, City Centre and Dublin Sea Ports. There is ample parking for delegates that travel by car in the free car parks beside the conference venue for the duration of ISES Dublin 2008.
After registration, all speakers and delegates presenting posters will be directed to the Speaker’s room and poster display areas adjacent to the Minerva Suite where speakers will be afforded an opportunity to upload and/or review presentations on computer. The delegates presenting posters will be provided with adhesive material for mounting their posters and directions to their poster board.
A message board and meeting point will be located at the Registration Desk in the Minerva Suite. All queries such as Lost & Found etc will be dealt with at the Desk.
