Dr. Orla Doherty presents: “Effect of Noseband Tightening on Eye Temperature”

Dr. Orla Doherty qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from UCD in 1992 and earned a Master’s Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Edinburgh University in 1993. She founded the Animal Behaviour Clinic in 1994 and has since treated animal behaviour problems nationwide. She is an Associate Lecturer in Animal Behaviour at UCD and previously lectured at the University of Limerick.
Dr. Doherty presents regularly to Veterinary Surgeons and consults with pet owners. She has worked with horse owners in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Canada, organizing equine behaviour workshops with international experts. She completed a Diploma in Equitation Science in 2017 and earned her PhD in 2016, focusing on horse-rider interactions and training methods. Dr. Doherty has presented her research to numerous international advisory groups and forums.
