Dr Elodie Mandel-Briefer is an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen and a pioneer in animal bioacoustics. She uses artificial intelligence and acoustic analysis to decode the emotional language of animals. Her famous research includes co-developing an AI algorithm that translates pig grunts into emotional states to improve farm animal welfare. A frequent speaker on the intersection of AI, animal behavior, and affective science, Elodie is dedicated to understanding how animals communicate, feel, and share emotions.
