Weather:

The climate in New Zealand can be variable. It’s not called Aotearoa (Land of the long white cloud) for nothing!

However, it is usual for March to be dry, warm and sunny with average temperatures of around 23 C in the day and 14 C at night.

Over the past couple of years, NZ has had extreme weather due to the effect of the La Niña weather pattern, however in 2024, El Niño returns, usually bringing high temperatures. Conference delegates should bring a light rain coat just in case it does rain, and keep an eye on the weather pages leading up to the conference.

Cancellations:

We will only be able to provide refunds in exceptional circumstances. Please contact the conference organisers, if you are unable to attend.
